Baby Blessing

Sunday we were able to bless Sydney and it was wonderful. We had lots of family come in for the weekend and it was GREAT! We just wish that we could get to see everyone more often! Here are some pics.

My mom made her gorgeous dress out of my wedding dress and it was wonderful to see her in it. She's such a great baby and we're thrilled to have her in our family!

Responsibility...what's that?

Monday: The house is a mess, laundry is piled up like crazy, the dryer just broke, and the kids are finally asleep after a hard morning. What did I do? What every responsible mother would do. I found out that it was a free day at the museum, so everyone got woken up from their naps to go see this:

Unfortunately, everything was still a mess on tuesday and then reality set in.

Let it snow

One reason why I love Colorado is the weather. We just finished off a wonderfully snowy week and got 2 feet of snow in 2 days. You can't imagine how happy this makes me!! Another great thing about Colorado is that it almost always warms up to the 50's within a few days so we don't feel like we live in Alaska. Andrew and I are itchin' to go skiing! Soon...

An AMAZING Photographer

Yep, that's my brother Tony. He was out here a few weeks ago and graciously spent an entire afternoon taking pictures of my kids. I've always thought that his work was good, but I think that he took a leap from good to spectacular. Here are a few of my favorites. Cute Baby

or "KOOT Baby" said in a high squeaky voice if you're Cameron. He is constantly going around the house looking for the cute baby and just loves her to death.

I kept wondering if Cameron would get jealous of all the attention that Sydney gets. It seems that the most commented on thing about her is that she has so much hair. When people make these comments, it's pretty common for Cameron to assume that they are talking about him and get excited about his pretty hair - yep, he's still obsessed with his pretty hair!

Lovin' Fall

Fall is totally here and I LOVE IT!! It's the perfect weather to go out and play, and we've been taking advantage of it. Our backyard is full of leaves and Cameron is constantly coming inside covered in leaves!

We took Sydney for her first hike last weekend. We went for a quick hike up to St. Mary's Alice glacier. The weather was perfect and the glacier had a fresh coat of snow from a week ago, so Cameron and Andrew had fun sledding on grocery bags!

Quick Question...

Do all babies smell as wonderful as mine? Seriously, I just can't get enough of how WONDERFUL little babies smell. AAHHHHH...

The smell of a 2 year old who's been playing outside all day, that's a different story (but the smiles on his face totally make up for it!)

The amazing sling Angela made me. Believe me, if I didn't have this, we wouldn't have eaten dinner any day this week.

Is it weird that I'm so excited about this?

Just got this off of craigslist for $35 and it's only 2 months old. I wasn't so sure about getting a double stroller, but this one isn't as insanely huge as most we've looked at and it folds up super small. I can't wait to go to the zoo and try it out in a while!
